Leave the A83 at junction 11 (Niort Est). After the tollbooths, go straight ahead at the first roundabout. Pass lorry parks on your left and then at the next roundabout take the first exit (i.e. turn right). Follow the road (D5) over the motorway and continue straight on for several miles until you enter a forest called "Fôret de l’Hermitain". At the crossroads in the middle of the forest, take the right-hand turn (D10) towards Melle. In Beaussais, turn right onto the D737 for Melle. At the roundabout, take the third exit (Limoges/Angoulême). This is the Melle bypass. There are several right-hand exits (some unmarked), but the exit for Paizay-le-Tort is the last! Take the Paizay-le-Tort exit. At the top of the slip road, go straight over the D950 and follow signs to Paizay-le-Tort. On entering Paizay-le-Tort, take the third left (the one before the church) and follow signs to La Barette. When you enter La Barette, La Longère Rose is down the first tarmac road on the right - the signs are on the gate. If you are travelling down the A10... Leave the A10 at junction 30 (Poitiers Sud). After the tollbooths, go straight on and then take the right-hand lane for the N10/N11. Follow the N10 for about 2kms. Look for a right turn onto the N11 for Lusignan & Melle. After Lusignan, follow the D150/950 to Melle. Go straight through Melle (St-Leger). After the second roundabout, look for the left turn to Paizay-le-Tort (D120). Follow the Paizay-le-Tort signs. On entering Paizay-le-Tort, take the third left (the one before the church) and follow signs to La Barette. When you enter La Barette, La Longère Rose is down the first tarmac road on the right - the signs are on the gate.
